You're missing libc.so.4.0. You need to keep old shared library : major versions around if you have programs that are linked with them. : On the other hand, you might try getting a fresh copy of XFree86-2.1. : I believe it was rebuilt recently to work with the new NetBSD library : formats, which means it probably uses a higher version libc. Already tried searching around the sites for a new XFree86-2.1. They're all the old version and that includes sun-lamp and ftp.iastate's. If some nice person could point me to the site where a current XFree86-2.1 could be found i'd be most grateful. At the moment i've resorted to XFree86-2.0 as I can at least get that going.
