How hard to do? Date: 23 Apr 1994 20:34:52 -0500 Organization: The University of Texas - Austin Lines: 10 Message-ID: <2pcibs$rd2@sylvester.cc.utexas.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: sylvester.cc.utexas.edu Many programs seem to use the Meta key, which I have to simulate with ESC (ex: command line editing in BASH). Is it possible, and/or advisable, to use the Alt key as Meta? I have never seen a program which wants to use the Alt key as such. For that matter, the function keys go unused as well.
