I am having a problem installing XFree86-2.1 under NetBSD-current. I
install all the files correctly (as per NetBSD-0.9 and XFree86-2.0 when
I had it running) and when I go to run the server I get the message:

ld.so: libc.so.4.0 not found

I tried to pull a fast one on X and link libc.so.4.0 to my libc.so.9.0, but
I guess the changes have been too great since 4.0 as all I get is seg
faults.

Can anyone offer any helpful suggestions other than compiling up
XFree86-2.1? I did try the static version, but the only thing that happens
then is that the X server runs to a point where it requires one of it's
support programs, then fails with the same error.

ldconfig has been run, and ld.so can find all the shared libraries.

Am I missing something very simple here?

Glen.
