It's 82586-based and controlled by a 80186. The only thing that looks like a model number is "EXCELAN EX0S 205" on the circuit board. The card seems to date back to 1987. I have no doc... I would like to use the card under FreeBSD. There is a 82586 driver for AT&T cards, but it doesn't seem to recognize mine. I first need to be sure of the I/O address of the card. For that, there are two jumpers (labelled J24 and J25), but no indication of the corresponding port address. Can somebody give me a hint on that ? I think there are public-domain DOS-based utilities to analyze what's on the ISA bus, where can I find something like that ? Then, as I can be reasonnably sure (Murphy's Law) the driver won't be able to use the card, I need detailed programming information on the card, to try and modify the FreeBSD driver. If somebody could point me to some ftp site or book, or better, to a driver :-), I would be very grateful. -- Pierre Beyssac FreeBSD@home: pb@fasterix.frmug.fr.net FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux -- Il y a moins bien, mais c'est plus cher.
