There are many of us who have been waiting for FreeBSD-1.1-RELEASE, but can the core team give us a new time frame now? I will send something to c.o.3.announce a little later, but for the moment just let me say that 1.1 GAMMA should be done tonite, and will be the RELEASE Candiate. After 7 days of testing, we expect to be shoving RELEASE out the door on the weekend. But please wait for the announcement! I don't want everyone decending on poor freebsd.cdrom.com prematurely before we get the MIRROR sites updated! :-) Jordan
