I am looking for a simple program to do the login negotiations for auto-starting slip on machine-boot. I have heard of a program called "expect" which works kinda like the uucp chat script parser: ie, it takes a sequence of receive-send strings and attempts to carry on a startup conversation. Does anyone know of this, and if there is a port to FreeBSD? Thanx in advance. -coranth ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Coranth Gryphon Karma: You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead.
