I do not want to deal with another OS just for the sake of using somethine new. However, a lot of new things will be coming up in FreeBSD, we have been working on stabilizing the platform so that more interesting things can be built on it. I think that the concept of Plan 9 is interesting, and think that it would be interesting to implement one from scratch (UNENCUMBERED!!!), but that is a few years away. John
