Fine, I get the bin dist and untars it (yes a bit rash, I know). Everything goes ok apart from some busy files and then in middle of going through dynamic libc everything stops.. 8/ Sooo, I am wondering if some kind soul could take his distribution filesyst-diskette and put a statically linked tar on it so I can untar the whole bin dist (see above). The diskette would thus need to contain gunzip, tar, cd, mount and fsck apart from whatever is needed to start from it. tar is the only thing that is not already on it but I guess you need to take something out to have room for the tar binary. Then empty the diskette (dd if=/dev/fd0 of=.. count=2400 (?)) into a file and tell where I can ftp it from.. (or mail it or whatever). I would of course be _very_ grateful. Whatever I can do in return.. Thank you for your time and in advance for your help, /Johan
