Date: 28 Apr 1994 11:30:13 GMT Organization: University of Oslo Lines: 18 Message-ID: <2po6o5$ab6@hermod.uio.no> Reply-To: Thomas.Berge@studorg.uio.no NNTP-Posting-Host: admin.uio.no X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.1 PL9] I have set up a NetBSD system on a 386, and I want to run the daily cleanup (in /etc/daily) without crond mailing to root every time it has been run. Does anybody know how I can prevent crond from mailing to the crontab-user after it has finished the job? Setting the MAILTO-variable or simply rm'ing the mail won't do, I want to be able to stop the mailing alltogether... Hints, anyone? _____________________________ _____ | Thomas.Berge@studorg.uio.no \ \ R \__ _____ | Faculty of Law \___________\ \/_______\___\_____________ | University of Oslo, Norway / ( /_/ ..................... `-. |_____________________________/ `-----------,----,--------------' _/____/
