I'm compiling freebsd-1.1-gamma right now, and I see a lotta stuff that is
being compiled with cc -p or cc -g (or both). is it generally safe to
remove these (or replace them with cc -O)?

b/
how do I set up quotas? I don't know what exactly to put in my /etc/fstab
file, and what I tell edquota -- I have everything else figured out.

[suggestion:]

can one line by added to the 1.0.2 --> 1.1 update script? it sez

(before the kernel compile)
...
read $config
...
config $config
cd /sys/compile/$config
...

I'd like it to do
...
read $config
...
rm -fr /sys/compile/$config
config $config
cd /sys/compile/$config
...

no real biggie, but caught me w/ my pants down.

thanks!
