The question that I have is how to increase the transfer rate on my drives. In the manual it says to flip the 6th and 7th switches in bank one on. I did. When I boot up and it shows the listing of the controller card it say parity enable (5MB/sec) transfer rate. I have a SCSI-2 245M Quantum and a SCSI-2 540M Quantum. On the bottom of the drives if two sets of jumpers. The one set is for the setting of the SCSI ID. I am not sure what the second set is for, maybe parity or something like that. I think this is the problem with my transfer rate. If anyone know the trick to a faster transfer rate or what each of the jumpers in the second bank is please let me know. Thanks, James Miller :)
