Woah, I was sure to encounter "undocumented features (?)" only
in MS-DOS, but not here in *nix land :-(

BTW (one stupid qustion), does FreeBSD-1.1 will be able to execute
old 1.0 (not dynamically linked) binaries (or have I to recompile
*all* those megabytes of old stuff)?
