What does |> BSD stand for.. ??? BSD stands for Berkeley Software Distribution, but Unix has never been under it. In the beginning UCB gathered together software from a group of hackers and released it on a single tape (this was in the dark ages remember). Eventually UCB was releasing an entire implementation of Unix. They had an agreement with USL that enabled them to make releases up to version 4 and so we now have version 4.2, etc ad nauseum. -- Michael Salmon #include <standard.disclaimer> #include <witty.saying> #include <fancy.pseudo.graphics> Ericsson Telecom AB Stockholm
