I can't move it to any other port or IRQ due to conflicts. How much work is required to install FreeBSD in this case? Can I just patch the boot disk (at what address)? If I install on a system that uses 330h, and then move the SCSI drive back to the 130h system, will it work (ie. unlike the boot kernel, does the disk kernel self-configure as far as port address)? Or, worst-case, must I bring up an entire system with source on a 330h system and hack the SCSI driver to use 130h and only then switch the drive back to the target (130h) system? Thanks in advance for any help ... - Tim Iverson iverson@lionheart.com
