I have also been having troubles trying to use install or by hand.  It
appears that on heavy disk load the system will lock up and i will have
to reboot.

I have seen other messages refering to this same type of problem and
have not seen any responses or fixes on the net.

Does any body have an idea whats wrong and/or how to resolve this
problem.

Please respond on the net, as my mail gateway is not currently working.
