Keywords: NetBSD FreeBSD Linux Organization: UNC Educational Computing Service Date: Thu, 5 May 1994 23:25:50 GMT Lines: 21 1) Is NetBSD the same package as FreeBSD? 2) If they're not, what is the home ftp site for NetBSD? 3) Where could I find a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of these UNIX clones? (including Linux) 4) Is BSDI's BSD/386 superior to these free versions? Why? 5) What's the best OS for use as a PC-NFS file server/Internet host running TCP/IP (keeping in mind that I've been around dp for a long time, but I'm not familiar with UNIX). I want an OS that's easy to install, tune, and maintain. 6) Daddy, why's the sky blue?
