Message-ID: <CpKyvu.8MH@cs.ruu.nl> Summary: Is there any support or is someone working on it. Keywords: SCSI Sender: usenet@cs.ruu.nl (Six O'Clock News) Organization: Utrecht University, Dept. of Computer Science Date: Tue, 10 May 1994 09:40:41 GMT Lines: 18 Hi, I'm working quite awhile now with NetBSD. No problems. But now i've got the Adaptec AHA2852VL Fast SCSI adapter and found out it wasn't and isn't supported yet. Even Linux doesn't support the adaptec at the moment, although someone is working on that. Is someone working on a driver for *BSD? If so, does he/she need any help? Is there any sense in doing it myself? If so, where can i get any information, moral support, etc? I'm currently working with some other (older) disk with Linux (oh-no), but i like NetBSD must more. I hate the idea of having to change to Linux only because they support the adaptec in the near future. mar (mhmoolen@cs.ruu.nl)
