What SCSI adapter do you use? My Adaptec 1542 does not have a setting that allows me to boot any SCSI unit other than 0, and that's my hard disk. All I can boot is the active particion on my unit-0 hard drive, or the A: floppy drive. I suspect the vast majority of other PCs is the same. The ability to boot a CD is a rare ability indeed, and until your post, I figured that there existed no practical PC configuration that allowed booting a CD ROM.
