The port for the sun3 architecture is also starting to get good and stable on the sun3/50 and sun3/60 machines. There isn't anything for the sun4m yet. NetBSD also runs on the following machines: almost any amiga with 68020/68030/68040, and *with* an MMU some Macintosh machines, partiticularily the older ones the hp300 68030 machines, 68040 support not in our tree yet the pc532 board developed in a usenet news group the standard i386 AT family of machines. NetBSD 0.9 was only really was released in binary form for the i386. There are binary snapshots of the current code made available on a fairly timely basis for _most_ of these architectures. If you don't see the architecture you want.. wait a while.. The binary snapshots are beta code, but they are quite stable. Numerous mirror sites have these, the cannonical place is an overloaded machine... sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu:pub/NetBSD/arch/{sun3,sun4c,i386,amiga,mac68k,pc532} But one of the better places is ftp.iastate.edu:pub/netbsd/NetBSD-current/binaries/{*} -- This space not left unintentionally unblank. deraadt@fsa.ca
