This is as good a time as any to start this back up.
The FDC code being used by both Free/NetBSD is a joke.

Well, at least has the floppy driver has finally condensed
and is finally dribbling down the net.

KNOWN BUG: The system at command-level will not report an
error when trying to write to a write-protected
diskette. However, the code does handle this
correctly.
