I tried it, and I get the usual prompts for filename, drive letter, and then the prompt to insert the disk (which I have formatted to DOS FAT 1.44Meg). rawrite then spits out: Number of sectors per track for this disk is 18 Writing image to drive A:. Press ^C to abort. Attempt to DMA across 64k boundary That's it. The disk light shines for a bit (like 3 seconds) and the disk I get is still readable by DOS's DIR command. :-( If it turns out that I can't use rawrite from within OS/2, what are my options? All I've got is an OS/2 HPFS partition to store the floppy images on... -- $$ Matthew Deter $$$$ mld@netcom.com $$ $$$$ "The fortune of my spirit is not to be blown into coins of brass $$ and flung to the winds as alms for the poor of the spirit." $$$$ $$ -- from the novel _Anthem_ by Ayn Rand
