If I telnet to a host with an alternate port number,
(say 2000 or 5000), when I hit enter, ^M is echoed
to the screen. This is very annoying!! Any ideas.
I have seen it on two machines.
telnet worf.tamu.edu 2000
telnet ics.uoknor.edu 5000

Thanx,
Dan
