The symbol for KBC_TPMRATE used in kbd.c is not defined. Add the following definition to /sys/i386/isa/kbd.h: #define KBC_TPMRATE 0xF3 /* set typematic delay and rate */ 2. In the german keymap which is included in keycap.template as an example, the definition for the umlaut-ue is reversed. Replace line :K27=\232:S27=\201:C27=\035:\ with :K27=\201:S27=\232:C27=\035:\ 3. As reported, there might be problems with the national key K29 and K42. Some brands of keyboards use these differently. 4. Also, currently there is no special codepage support. The vga-part uses the standard character ROM of the video card. This contains usally the standard mapping PC-8. If your special national language characters are not in this ROM, I cannot offer a good solution for the moment. Tell me whether this is the case for you. Send comments and bug-reports to veit@du9ds3.uni-duisburg.de. In the version currently available from ftp.uni-duisburg.de, typos 1 and 2 are corrected. The latest version is 47780 bytes in size. Keycap-0.1.0 is available from ftp.uni-duisburg.de (134.91.4.132) in /pub/unix/386bsd-0.1/unofficial/keycap-0.1.0.tar.Z Hope that helps Holger -- | | / Holger Veit | INTERNET: veit@du9ds3.uni-duisburg.de |__| / University of Duisburg | BITNET: veit%du9ds3.uni-duisburg.de@UNIDO | | / Dept. of Electr.
