I would not call that 'boot from CDROM'... I thought it would mean 'insert our CDROM in your existing system, press RESET and it will load the system from the CD'. Like you can do using a floppy. When you first need to have some software or setup on the HD, it is essentially worthless as a method for loading a new OS.
