			   FreeBSD 1.0.2 FreeBSD 1.1R
			   ------------- ------------
   Compiling:
FreeBSD kernel source	20 minutes 1 hour
Mtools-2.0.7 5 minutes 12 minutes (same exact source!)

   Apps:
   vi /etc/rc.local	~1 second ~3 seconds
man telnet ~6 seconds ~15 seconds

These seem really excessive. I think something is misconfigured in
your existing system which is causing these problems. Would you mind
opening this issue with us in freebsd-hackers@freefall.cdrom.com?
Many of us don't read the net! Including figures like the above
definately help!
