We have an HP ScanJet IIcx scanner, which was bought for use with
a Macintosh. I'd like to use it under FreeBSD.

(a) Has anyone already done this?

(b) When I boot FreeBSD with the scanner attached, it is reported as
a processor rather than a scanner. What is the significance of this?
Does it imply that it does not accept the SCSI scanner commands?
