`more' has obviously been hacked by a `typial American' who's
considering characters with bit 7 set as `weird characters'.
Thouhg most of the more sources are taken from `less' now, less'
ability to pass all eight bits has been abandoned.

Quit using more, take `less' instead - it does what you want.
