Does anyone have any experience using PCI SCSI or Video baords with either
FreeBSD or NetBSD? How about XFree86? I'm just getting around to building
a system run BSD on and do a little away from the office hacking. I an
thinking about treating myself to a Pentium box. However, just about all
the Pentiums are PCI bus and I can't see the sense of wasting the local bus.
My intention was to run either FreeBSD or NetBSD along with XFree86. I
have my eye on the Bustech BT-946C SCSI board and the Number Nine GXE64 Pro
Video board. However, I am open to any other suggestions. Mostly, I
don't want to splurge on hardware and end up with a expensive pile of
compatibility problems.

Thanks.
