That's BusLogic to y'all, boy... *swagger* My BusLogic bt747s Installation Guide, and bt742a Technical Reference Manual, both say that you must have your "drive" set up as SCSI ID 0 or 1 to be booted from the BIOS. It says you only need to this if you intend to boot from the drives. It doesn't say whether these "drives" can or cannot be CDROM drives.
