Hi,

I am trying to install SunOS 4.1.1 on a Sun3/60 machine.
The installation media is Tape Cartridge.

I use "b st(0,0,0)" to boot from tape, but everytime this message
cames up: "scsi:select failed".

I tried to run "SCSI Bus External Loopback Test" and this test gives this resualt:

SCSI Loopback Error: Signal: ACK, BSY, SEL, ATN, REQ, MSCM, C/D, I/O: exp F0, obs 0
SCSI Loopback Error: Signal: ACK, BSY, SEL, ATN, REQ, MSCM, C/D, I/O: exp F. obs 0
Test faild during pass 1. Total errors = 1

What am I doing wrong or what is the problem?

Thanks for any help anyone!
