[...] Assuming the above is correct, then why the hell doesn't he (Bill Jolitz, or she, Lynne Jolitz) make an end to all the rumour? This 'you have an opinion differing from mine, so I won't talk to you any longer' is getting a bit childish and silly now *), don't you think, Bill? If you don't want to speak up in this forum (after all these newsgroups were created as a forum for '386bsd' in particular!), send me personal email, if you are still interested in any support from me. If I send in some code to you, I would expect at least the status of that work now when there is a collection on some CDROM available (and I guess, numerous contributors think the same). Noone expects a detailed report on every code line integrated (although it would allow comparisons with the efforts done in the NetBSD and FreeBSD spin-offs), but something like the READMEs for 386bsd-0.1 is certainly more useful than the ad blurb from JM. I would be willing to pay the $100 for the CD if I see a progress from 0.1, but currently the almost unlabelled snapshot CDs for FreeBSD and NetBSD from Infomagic are more informative. *) and I mean all parties involved!
