My recipe to install netstat: 1) get 4.3bsd-reno.tar.Z 2) extract /usr.bin/netstat /sys/netimp /sys/netns /sys/netiso 3) put netstat into /usr/src/usr.bin 4) put /sys/netimp /sys/netns /sys/netiso into /sys (these have symbolic links on them in /usr/include) 4a) Do the necessary uncompression of .Z files 5) cd /usr/src/usr.bin/netstat ; make ; make install (no source modifications are necessary) 6) Voila. You have a full functioning netstat (without any source modifications, code removal etc.) --Chris --Christoph Kukulies ----------------------------------------------------------------- kuku@acds.physik.rwth-aachen.de *** Error code 1 Stop.
