Do I need to go to version > 1.1? > Pointless upgrading, I get exactly the same error under 1.1. However, using 1.1 I can dial the site, and use slip to get a good tcp connection. The only problem I then have is getting the modem to drop the line. So you have a choice : Stay as you are and have no connection; or upgrade, get a connection but get a massive overnight phone bill 'cos you cant drop the line :-) -- Ian Steel
