Followup-To: poster Date: 27 May 94 01:19:14 Organization: Kernel Hackers 'r' Us Lines: 30 Message-ID: <CGD.94May27011914@erewhon.CS.Berkeley.EDU> Reply-To: core@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu NNTP-Posting-Host: erewhon.cs.berkeley.edu There's going to be a NetBSD BOF at USENIX, on Wednesday night from 8-9PM. Location will be posted on the BOF board at USENIX. It's going to be fun and/or interesting. It'll be a general status report, plus question and answer. I'll babble about the status of our 4.4-Lite integration, the various ports of NetBSD that are happening, our future plans, and anything you might bring up, and more. The entire NetBSD core team will be there to help answer your questions, and we might even commit ourselves to some things that we don't commit to online. If you're interested in a free, BSD UN*X-like system that runs on a variety of platforms, I encourage you to attend. If you can't make it, but can use FTP or ftp-mail, take a look at: ftp.NetBSD.ORG:pub/NetBSD In the 'misc' directory you'll find slides of previous NetBSD BOFs, and after the BOF in Boston, its slides, too. You'll also find the latest NetBSD-current sources, as well as the latest release (for the i386 only; go to the BOF for more info on the next one!) and more recent binary snapshots for various architectures.
