Kermit works just great for me. He did say "with vt100 support" Answer: Without X, there really isn't much of anything. The best bet would be to run the pcvt console driver out of /usr/ports/util/pcvt (full instructions for installation are there) and use its VT220 superset emulation directly. Weeell, not so fast. It seems there's something out there called pcomm, which is a public-domain knockoff of Procomm, and while I haven't set it up and run it, I did briefly grab the shar files from uni-stuttgart and look. It seems to be somewhat terminal-independent and non X based. I also noticed the pcomm files were sharred up by Paul Vixie, who, if memory serves me correctly, was recently seen in one of the other 386bsd groups actively Jesus (Monroy) bashing (and, this time, based on wrong information). Perhaps when Paul gets through with more pressing matters he can comment on the capabilities of pcomm. Mahself, I'm happy with Seyon, and my disk is full (again). --
