I don't know where you got that impression - FreeBSD `supports' just about every serial mouse, which is to say that *XFree86* (a different product, just one that happens to run under FreeBSD!) supports microsoft mice, Logitech, etc. The only mice that FreeBSD needs to get into the act in any kind of serious way for are bus mice (mentioned in the FAQ) and PS/2 mice, also mentioned in the FAQ (and now supported by default in FreeBSD-current). I have seen references to the PS/2 type mouse driver package - is there something similar for the little serial rodent and would it make it possible to use them (in 3 button emulator mode) for XFree86? Well, for a PS/2: PS/2 "/dev/psm0" Emulate3Buttons Read the XFree86 documentation! Jordan
