hi lars,

netboot.com work on my configurations. and the author
may be reached at martin@innovus.com

are you sure you are using WD80x3 NIC?
have you modified base address at wd80x3.c?
have you prepared configurations at the boot server? viz, tftpd+bootpd
have you prepare bootp.tab at the boot server?
have you prepared cfg.???.???.???.??? by running diskless_config at the
boot server?
prepare /etc/exports with root=0?
done kernel configurations with ed0 with proper address/irq/ioaddr
and with "options DISKLESS"?
are you using WD card or emulation of WD-mode?
file size of compiled netboot.com is about 7-8K only, isn't it yours?
if you are to use FreeBSD as the boot server, be reminded it use secure
tftp.
<client>:root prepared? such as <client>:root/etc/fstab.

so much to say....
