Fintronic out of Menlo Park, Ca.
Sells CAE tools for linux systems (circuit simulators, etc..)

xcoral (do archie to locate it)
I have found that is an easy to use with editor with
builtin c and c++ class browser. Very fast and uses
	xlib with a 3d look .

tcl/tk harbor.ecn.purdue.edu:/pub/tcl
there is a spreadsheet package for tcl/tk
tcl has interesting extensions for instance picasso does
image processing, many multimedia packages such vat
nv, cms (continous multimedia system out of berkeley)
	use tcl/tk.

mosaic
With it is powerful search engines or robots is not
a bad thing to have. I don't mean archie or wais...
There are programs which periodically run and gather
all kinds of information on the internet.

mail
safe-tcl can provide active mail and is MIME compliant
mail takes on a whole new dimesion with this package.
For instance, you can create graphical front-end to
lets say order forms and mail the tcl/tk program
to users. The act of reading the mail message will
result in the order form program to be displayed
	in your workstation.

netaudio freebsd.cdrom.com:/pub/FreeBSD
If you want to have fun or sound oriented apps

vat and nv (vat not available for linux)
useful for having company video conferences or audio
conferences. If you are on the internet and have
remote branches it can save you a ton of money.
Some of these apps are currently being used in
	large corporations.

	Enjoy,
	Amancio
