Hi all!

I am having problem copying an 8mm tape on AIX to another 8mm tape.
I used this dd command to copy dd if=/dev/rmt0 and of=/dev/rmt0, it appeared
everything is working fine but after the command is completed, I tried listing
the files using cpio -it </dev/rmt1, it gave me an error message saying that
cpio: out of phase

and then listed another error message and finally command ended with a core dump

I also tried doing tcopy which copies from source tape to destination tape

tcopy /dev/rmt0 /dev/rmt0

it gave me the same error message and core dumped when tried to list the files
using cpio. By the way my original tape is in cpio format.

Can somebody out there give help me on this.
