A complicated subject but

1 .. I have a parallell streamer under my desc, do linux have anny support
or, will it be (if not), support for a parallell streamer?
2 .. A fried have a VL-bus chace IDE controller named DC-680?
it is very fast under his DOS system, and he hase 3 IDE drives
working under it. Will a controller like this work under my linux?
if so I culd add 2 more IDEs (have the drives but no controller
that supports more then 2, so I planed to bye one.

on the fact seet supplied with this is the following info
       - on board BIOS
       - 4 IDE HDs up to 4 gb pr. drive
       - 2 FDDS
       - supports 32 bin vl-bus drivers for SCO unix, interactive unix and
         AT&T unix
       - WD 1003 emulation support

I think this is what makes it possible for some of you mabye can answer,
since I will get no return option, if I bye one of those from the reseller
of it?
