Message-ID: <AE5OBSHQ@math.fu-berlin.de> Sender: news@math.fu-berlin.de (Math Department) Nntp-Posting-Host: fub46.zedat.fu-berlin.de Organization: Free University of Berlin, Germany Date: Thu, 26 May 1994 19:57:25 GMT Lines: 17 Hi all, has anybody managed to mount an mfs out there? I tried but it doesnt work. I think I missed some essential information of how to do this. I made my kernel with `option MFS' on, then rebooted and tried to `mount -t mfs /dev/wd1b /mtmp' (/dev/wd1b is my swap partition). The mount was rejected with the following message: `mfs: mounting MFS: Operation not supported by device'. What's wrong there (I have FreeBSD-1.1-GAMMA)?
