having had no luck trying to install netbsd 0.9, i borrowed a SCSI disk
with a reasonably late version of netbsd-current, plugged it into my
system and got the following:

 .
 .
 .
bt0 at isa0 port 0x330-0x333 irq 11 version 2.1 async, parity, 32 mbxs
scsibus0 at bt0

(time passes)

(more time passes)

probe0 (bt:0:0) timed out bt0 not taking commands!
stopped at _Debugger+0x4
db>

anybody have and idea? the machine is a 33MHz 486, the controller a bustek
542, the disk was a 3.5" Quantum SCSI i believe. i played around with the
terminators, removing them and replacing them, and it didn't make any
difference. i removed the terminators on the Quantum and terminated the
bus with a Viper 2150S SCSI .25" tape drive, same error (yes, the Viper
was terminated).
