Message-ID: <CqqHu3.Jx2@virtual.cuc.ab.ca> Organization: Virtual Universe Corp Distribution: world Date: Wed, 1 Jun 1994 19:51:39 GMT Lines: 29 having had no luck trying to install netbsd 0.9, i borrowed a SCSI disk with a reasonably late version of netbsd-current, plugged it into my system and got the following: . . . bt0 at isa0 port 0x330-0x333 irq 11 version 2.1 async, parity, 32 mbxs scsibus0 at bt0 (time passes) (more time passes) probe0 (bt:0:0) timed out bt0 not taking commands! stopped at _Debugger+0x4 db> anybody have and idea? the machine is a 33MHz 486, the controller a bustek 542, the disk was a 3.5" Quantum SCSI i believe. i played around with the terminators, removing them and replacing them, and it didn't make any difference. i removed the terminators on the Quantum and terminated the bus with a Viper 2150S SCSI .25" tape drive, same error (yes, the Viper was terminated). -- Programmer, debug thyself.
