In article <2s02su$kgp@beacon.dev.com> root@beacon.dev.com (Albert Gaylord) writes:

However, assuming that it is possible to add new accounts to my
system using a script is possible, are there any sites where such
a script might just be available? I am using C shell if that is
   of any help.

Look in /usr/src/contrib/FAQ/programs/adduser in the current sources
on freebsd.cdrom.com (freebsd.cdrom.com:~ftp/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/src).

Another thing I would like to do is set up an anonymous ftp directory
and to enable it. Is there a FAQ or an information file somewhere that
might just explain how to do this?

The man page for ftpd actually does an amazingly good job (for your
typical man page) of describing exactly how to do this. The person
who wrote it ought to get a medal for `most useful man page'.

BTW, I know it's probably not immediately obvious, but the the
comp.os.386bsd.* groups are actually where most of the FreeBSD
discussions take place.
