If so, is there any undocumented magic? Copied it from /mnt/ports/editor/emacs to /usr/ports/editor/emacs. Did a make. The build proceeded for quite awhile and built a bunch of images. It then stops with error #2, "make: don't know how to make make" shortly before it tries to build emacs proper. Checked the FAQ, didn't find anything appropriate.
