Since the ports stuff is (apparently) using CVS, it would
be trivial for the developers to produce patch files for
their changes (as was done with the emacs distribution).
This give those of us who like to be on the bleeding edge
a chance at getting newer versions of things (like GDB)
running without starting from scratch or producing our own
diffs.  So...

Could people who put stuff in ports *please* also put in
patches from the raw distribution of whatever it is they
are porting?
