I'm using the same printcap which I used in 1.1 Beta and no problem. I can submit the job and the job is queued but I got a strange status for the printer: wait for lp to become ready (offline ?) The printer is absolutely on line. Since I can print under DOS, there shouldn't be a cable problem, either. I tried to kill lpd and started a new one. Didn't help. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it? Thanks. Here is my hardware configuration: 386DX, 25MHz, 16MB RAM, NPX present, two IDE HDs Western Digital 340 and Maxtor 7120, printer: Canon BJ-200e (When I was using 1.1 Beta, the same setting worked fine.)
