(The nightmare of an unusable PC looms...) I'm not clear enough on PC hardware relationships (ie does PCI support VESA modes etc etc) to make a solid decision. Is there some more documentation (net opinion?) on supported hardware? ie were I to buy a Gateway machine with a PCI bus would I be OK? Are there any Gateway owners with *BSD experience? Does anyone think more detail on supported hardware is a good idea? Thanks for your thoughts. -- Cheers, Ian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ian Fitchet I.D.Fitchet@fulcrum.co.uk Fujitsu Fulcrum Telecommunications ltd., Fordrough Lane, Birmingham, B9 5FL
