In article <H5EPBQCB@math.fu-berlin.de> gusw@zedat.fu-berlin.de (Gunther Shadow) writes:

Where can I get the recent versions of gcc (2.5.8) and gdb (>3.5) for
FreeBSD from? I already built gcc 2.5.8, but it doesnt fit as smart

Please see my recent comments regarding gcc 2.5.8 in response to your
questions about InterViews.

If you really really must experiment with gcc 2.5.8, however, then please
see:

	/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc25

There are some comments there about how to fold it in as the default
compiler.
