In cooperation with Dr. Dobbs, a bootable "Reference > CD-ROM" is currently being completed. Hehehe... (Hehehe is a laugh) :-) The only thing "wild" about anything is that the only existance of the "new" 386BSD is in "wild speculation". The only reason why I started working on the stuff that I did, was that 386BSD was so severly broken. The FreeBSD group and (I assume) the NetBSD group are both fairly organized and take input, while giving feedback to their user groups. The only individual that is apparently working relatively alone is the developer of "386BSD". The FreeBSD project is a group of dedicated software professional and not just one person (or closed group of people.) This is not really meant as a flame, but just my offense at the magazine for giving a value judgement like this... John dyson@implode.root.com
