If you have experienced a bug with 386BSD, can you send me information on it to: osynw@terra.oscs.montana.edu, title: 386BSD bugs and I will log it. Specifically, I am looking for bugs and bug-fixes related to 1) Not being able to boot 386BSD at all. 2) Being able to boot, but not being able to install. 3) Two disk on one controller fixes. If you have already sent me a bug report, don't bother, but if you haven't already sent me a report via. email, then please send me your reports. Before sending off a bug report, please try the new bootables on agate in pub/386BSD/386bsd-0.1/unofficial/newbootables/dist.fs or fixit.fs, to make sure the fix hasn't already been made. Status update: I was getting pretty close to having the list done. I went through the whole thing with uemacs last night, cleaning it up and organizing it when I locked my machine up when I got 2 com0:silo overflow messages. I'll need to go through it again, but not tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to have something substatial by the weekend, though it is still pretty rough. I hope to have all the patches I have available via. anon. ftp along with the Buglist. Things I think are fixed: 1) tip should work 2) mtools should work 3) various init fixes. 4) some boot problems fixed 5) kmem_malloc: kmem_map too small panic gone 6) man -k will work 7) you can rebuild the kernel (no vers.o problems) 8) !# scripts are now recognized 9) scsi tapes @ id 4 should work 10) some problems with reboots not recognizing disk and ethernet controllers 11) misc. others.
